Today's Work: 29 Mac 2012
Morning: 9.00 am:
I had a meeting with NST delegate, headed by Mr. Rajah and CIk Balqish. Looking at their style, I know that they mean business cause the stake is 50K. The only thing is that we are the one who need to do the works, while NST people will check the writing style, grammar errors and even layout. The best way to make money, is by making people do the work for us and later they are the one who has to pay for their own efforts.
Newspaper people are doing that. We write the things that we want to highlight, especially about our vision and university,later they will edit it...walla, you need to pay to them for your initial works. Another examples, is the plan of new campus or office or equipment....usually the users will need to look for all the specification, put it into proposal, Local order...walla, supplier will look for the equipment and get lot of money. If these supplier give you money that is called bribe...but the saddest thing is, when they finish their part of supplying the equipment or materials, they seem to lost account of your name....funny, how they can make money easily and never appreciate the person who are actually doing the initial work.
It also goes for new campus.....you plan the new campus, developer will take your plan as their, and they are the one who make more money than you...
Therefore...I am a bit skeptical when I were asked to develop something, cause at the end of the day....your name were not even mention of the development of a campus or million dollars of equipment purchase because of your works.
To those supplier, developer...you need not to bribe me....I just wants appreciation. Because of my initial work, you are able to supply or develop something.

Attending International Conference on Nanotechnology, ICONT 2011, Kota Kinabalu , Sabah, 6-9 June 2011. The seminar has just started, Prof. Kim Ja hae presented materials on Nano and Toxicology. Everything, every materials could turn into toxic materials once it can be made small enough....it increase surface to volume ratio. These nanotechnology material will in turn become active as it has more surfaces to react with materials.
There is a new NND (National Nanotechnology Direstorate) headed by Prof. Halimatun which is organizing a summit to decause way forward for Malaysia R&D on Nanotechnlology. This year is to create an act as to guide people on the development of Nanotechnology.

PARTI PEMBANGKANG HARUS DI TOLAK
Politik dari kacamata insan biasa, adalah usaha-usaha mendapatkan kuasa. Ade pelbagai kaedah untuk mendapatkan kuasa, antaranya; Pangkat, Harta, Kebijaksanaan, pemilihan dsbgnya. Malah dalam ape jua situasi yang berlaku, di mana manusia berkumpul lebih dari seorang,...akan berlaku keadaan di mana seseorang diberi lebih kuasa menentukan. Sebagai contoh, sepasang kekasih, akan wujud seseorang menentukan arah dan tujuan percintaan mereka, berkompromi dalam sesuatu situasi, mematuhi impian bersama, sebahagian memberi harapan, sebahagian lagi menuruti dengan kerelaan.
Politik di Malaysia, dipelopori oleh dua kumpulan. Kumpulan memerintah (BN) dan Pembangkang (DAP, PKR dan PAS). Biarpun kedua-duanya sebuah parti politik, yang bertujuan meraih undi untuk berkuasa, namun pendekatan terhadap memenangi hati pengundi dan penyokong adalah berbeza. BN, terutama UMNO membawa pendekatan pendidikan, di mana pengundi diberi sebanyak info yang mungkin dalam mewujudkan negara yang harmonis, ini termasuk dengan merangka Dasar Ekonomi baru dsbgnya.
Sementara, parti pembangkang membawa pendekatan berkempen, meningkatkan emosi pengikut dan bakal pengikutnya, seperti isu kes-kes makamah Anwar, isu jambatan Pulau Pinang, Rasuah dsgnya. Oleh kerana pembangkang hanya mampu berkempen, maka pendekatan mereka lebih tertumpu kepada HASUTAN, atau serangan emosi. Maka, gambaran atau perspektif negatif akan sebarang usaha kerajaan adalah taktik terkotor mereka.
Justeru itu, pendekatan politik mereka bukanlah berdasarkan intelektual, malahan berdasarkan meningkatkan emosi pengikut dan untuk itu mereka memerlukan pengikut untuk terus mundur dari perspektif pemikiran mereka. Marilah kita menolak parti yang tidak bertanggung jawab ini, PAS< PKR dan DAP, adalah parti yang meniupkan permusuhan....tolaklah mereka.

Dear all,
Today is another day, that a thought keep lingering on in my mind. If I change one thing, I've changed everything. Failure is causes by many mistakes, weak moves, while success is the chains of good strategies, good moves, genius people around, timing and facilities.
The taught of our Malaysian Football, so weak and disgrace. Why????
First of all...we need to identify our weaknesses. Life time presidency??? It is stupid....idea, but was lobbied by those politicians who wanted to climb the political ladder, using football as their vehicle. We know it....but still we do it.
FAM, BAM, ...everything in Malaysia.....is full of politicizing matters, including the universities. No wonder, Malaysia, will not be able to accelerate.....cause we are so much involve it, keep on politicizing matters rather than the concerns for capabilities or meritocracies. Well...Malay will not be able to survive without any help, but meritocracies need to be in place so that the Malays will started to work their best rather by being spoon feed.
It has been a long debate for Malaysian, but, I just wanted us to look into the matters as weak moves, wrong strategies, we Malaysian, especially the Malays.....will eventually perish.
University is a place where meritocracy should take place. There are lot of Professors....but do they perform???? In gaining research grants? Getting students???
The Key Index Performance has emerged sometime during last few years....and UTM has devices certain strategies that letting them to be included as Research University....and how do we at UTHM viewed this matter????
Well....as far as I know (discuss with UTM colleagues), they (UTHM) hired as many Indonesian or foreign researchers/lecturers that produce lot of papers, applying research grants,....maybe they (UTM) ingeniously put a strategy to be ranked above.
Well we at UTHM, need to at least.....notice the fact and figures, before deep thinking of putting any strategy.
Cronyism....at university??? There no place on earth that is fair, even our fingers are not the same. Well....me myself can argue about this, the way I was raised to a position, later was strip naked to the ground, on rumors!!!!!....well, as I mentioned earlier, if I am strong, I'll be strong no matter who push you down.
To be strong...is not by condemning others, that is totally not me. If you are strong, learn to be strong, and as what I have said to some of you.....A genius is a person who can change ordinary things to becomes extraordinary.
Well.....without any post, I manage to create a Nano Seminar, with very limited budget....only RM 1000, with so little support, ...but I managed to bring Richard Palmer, my former supervisor to my university. This is what I mean by strong move.
Chains of strong moves....we need to influence people, no matter who they are.
Now back to football,....if Sultan Ahmad Shah need to be informed, well he should be informed, because eventually, if we didn't make the changes, the environment, the surrounding, the people ...will make the changes for him. So...my advice, to myself,....I need to change. No favoritism. Make strong moves, alert.
So do help me to keep me on track....always alert and warn me of those bad people, who are rumor mongers, who has less credibility, capabilities...but still wanted to be rank above???? Finally....have more time to enjoy myself, reading, writing papers, doing researches, even....to those rumor mongers, Am free like a bird.
